The Natural Jute Is Coiled By Hand Using A Nail Board To Guide The Sole Shape, Then Secured, Again By Hand, With A Horizontal Side Stitch. The Outer Base Of The Jute Is Protected By A Rubber Tread And We’Ve Finished The Inside With A Leather Heel Piece. The Recycled Linen Upper Is A Sturdy Weight With Folded Topline And Is Fully Lined In Calf Leather With A Back Pull Tab To Give A Little More Structure To The Heel. Finally, The Upper Is Box Stitched To The Sole – And No Surprises Here – By Hand.
